One of the first things Stuart Walker did when he started the class newsletter 'On The Plane' in 1958 was compile a class roster. Good thing he did, as his roster is the best historical snapshot we have at who owned what 14 in 1958. I've redone the roster as a PDF file.

We used to read On the Plane, regularly. Can you find my Wet & Wild #863 on a Roster after 1969?
ReplyDeleteAfter 1958, no-one took the time to complie a USIFA roster again. Checking the measurement certificates, 863 doesn't show up but it's a good bet that 863 was a Schock Kirby III hull, a sistership to Roger Welsh's Kirby III.
ReplyDeleteIt was.
