  2. I think that Schock has turned up at the end of my street, here on Whidbey Island. Coincidentally, and even quite spooky, it is at the old home (sold 3 months ago) of Baird Bardarson, that legend of 14 faem, who died sadly 2 years ago.....the new owners of their holiday home, have no previous experience of sailing, and were practically donated this boat 'as a family boat to learn to sail on' Needless to say, as soon as I saw it, I was down there like a shot, and disabused them of the notion that they might have re. learning to sail in it....!!I am hoping they will let me buy it from them so I can start to restore it to it's former glory. The plaque says Schock 1960 - it has sail no 1055, if I remember, and is pretty shoddy. Will let you know how it pans out.
